Default 8103 fuse question

Hi Danny, have 2 problems that need answers.

1. The Tx module has one of the plastic arms broken (that you depress when removing the module). Can I get a new case for the module, or do I need to buy a new module?

2. For some reason the fuse in the module compartment blew. What would cause this fuse to blow?

Regards,

Dennis

Default RE: 8103 fuse question

1. Yes, you can get the case for the module seperately, it is part number JRPA615.

2. One thing to check is to be sure that the plastic insulator ring on the chargers plug is not worn allowing the center pin to contact the outside of the plug. Also be sure that your charge rate is 1 amp or under. Also be sure that your polarity is correct. Aside from these things, it is difficult to guess what may have caused the fuse to blow.
