Default PPM or PCM

Danny: Thanks again for your response on the 401 sensitivity thing, should have read the manual. I am looking at the new 6102 TX and I don't know the difference between PPM and PCM. The PCM cost more, so it must be better. Could enlighten this rookie?

Default RE: PPM or PCM

PCM is a digitally encoded signal that is cleaner and generally more precise than PPM, and also has better interference rejection. The TX in both systems is identical, each system is capable of SPCM and PPM, but the PCM 6102 includes the R770 SPCM receiver while the PPM (FM) 6102 system includes the R700 PPM receiver and is the reason for the cost difference.
