JR6102 w/ R770S PCM
Danny:
Hello. Hope you can help me out. I just got a JR 6102 w/ R770S and 4 - 537 servos. I was going over the system working all servos. Here's where it gets bad...I've been on an old airtronics system with the 94102 servos (not the Z bends) and I was told by a local hobby shop that I could switch the poles of the airtronics servos and they will work with the new JR770. While doing this one of the poles touched the receiver pole, briefly, and I think that's all it took. I saw a little smoke and it smelled like I burned up something...UGH!!
I then waited a bit, plugged my 537 servos into the receiver and nothing...Did I screw the receiver up totally?!?? Please help.

Thanks,
Austin

It sounds like some damage may have been done to the receiver. It would be best to send it in for a check up and see what would be needed to be done to repair your receiver. If you would like an estimate, mention that in your letter that you send in with the receiver.
