Default 10X Question & Request

Does JR have any plans on having assignable switches on their 10X radio?
My 20+ years as a faithful Futaba user is starting to fade and if JR had assignable switches like the 9Z, I would change immediately.

Default RE: 10X Question & Request

you can just mix what you want to a switch. IMO, assignable switches is kinda a joke, I see futaba guys at the field all the time trying to remember what they put on what switch. But, to answer your question, use a mix.

What would you be trying to do?

Default 10X Question & Request

John has a point. I use both a 9ZAPS and a 10X. I've had the 9Z since 1993. What I did with that was come up with a standard switch assignment that I use for all models. Granted, it seems a bit limited, but it sort of follows the JR philosophy of always having the same functions on the same switches. If you don't have some sort of system, there is no way to remember all of the models that transmitters can store. We are getting older you know
