Default Throttle Curve

Just a thought,
I know a lot of people with computer radios and even 10x's that don't even begin to use the features on the radio. Well this year I said I wasn't going to be like them. I actually programmed in the throttle curve tonight so I can actually have half my RPM's at half throttle, what a concept! I have a couple of bipes and have been using more and more features of my 8103

Holy X/Y curve Batman!

Default RE: Throttle Curve

That's interesting because it shows how much a computer radio can add to the experience and how we can individually configure things to work the way we want.
While I fly a different brand of radio other than JR, I also program my throttle curve to the way I like it, but a little different from yours.
I add expo at the bottom of the throttle (of course), but rather than what you did, I like to have full throttle at no more than 3/4 stick. That's because I'm personally a little uncomfortable flying with the right stick mostly centered but with the left stick all the way forward.

Ain't these computer radio thingy's great!?

Interesting comment...

I used to race RC cars competitively on concrete ovals. While I was a decent driver, if I took someone elses car for a spin it looked sometimes like I was a beginner because it was set up so differently from mine.
