Default Jr 940 and Jr 945 Receiver

Danny,

What is the difference between the JR R940 (discontinued) and JR945 receiver? I notice there is a size difference, the 945 is smaller. Could you please comment on it?

The 945 is a little revised, and improved, but generally speaking they work about the same. And as you said, the 945 is a little smaller.

Are all of the JR FM receivers single conversion?

Yes, they are all single conversion. The only dual conversion receiver currently available from JR is the 945.

Does dual conversion offer an advantage as far as JR is concerned? I have been using the 649 spcm receivers with no prob but my next plane is a 35% and I don't want to risk it. If dual conversion would be additional insurance then I will like go with it.

The ABC&W takes away the advantage of dual conversion in most cases. From there, it is really difficult to say. It depends on a lot of factors.
