JR XS3 and NiMH Batteries
I was wondering if it's possible to put AA NiMH batteries in the JR XS3 radio and still be able to use the built-in charging jack? I've head that some people have done this and it just takes longer to charge, is this right?
Thanks.

It can be done, and charge times will depend on the charger used, make sure you use a charger compatible with Nimh batteries. Yes, you can use the charge jack built in to the system. The center pin must be negaive on the charge plug.

I generally use the E-Flight Pinnacle or Pinnacle + for my transmitters when I want to use a fast charger.

Thanks,
one more question,
Dou you connect these chargers to the charge jack built in the system?
I tought there was not possible to use peak chargers with built in charging jacks.
Thanks again

Yes, you can connect them directly to the radio's internal charging jack. You juat have to make sure that your charger is capable of charging JR radios (negative tip).
The JR Radio doesn't have any charging circuits built it so the radio has nothing to do with the actual charging process. The jack on the radio just passes through to the batteries.
