Default 6102 Airplane throttle curve mixing

Hi Danny,

I have a 6102 with all 6 channels in use for a Funtana 90 (using mix 4 for elevator with the gear channel and the gear switch inhibited). 2 aileron servos on seperate channels and the normal rudder and throttle channels.

I want to start playing with throttle curve mixing and I know that I can set one of the other mixes to throttle-throttle but as far as what to do with the offset and percentages is what is eluding me.

The manual does not explain it in any detail and searches for creating the mix all lead to the helicopter function. The problem with setting it up in heli mode is that it appears I cannot mix elevator to gear and get the trim to function correctly, or is it possible and I am just confused.

What would be the best solution for this as you see it and can you explain it in a little more detail please?

Also, where can I get JR stickers for on my flight box and airplanes?

Thanks,

The 6102 for aircraft does not have a throttle curve function, and since it does not have any multi-point program mixes, there isn't a way to set one up. Using a program mix will only alter your overall travel which does not serve the purpose of a throttle curve. So I'm sorry to say that this isn't possible with the 6102.

For decals, we carry these:

Dave,

Thanks for the info on the throttle, it's no big deal and nothing that I can't live with, yet.

Guess it's soon time to look into the 9303.

I gather then I have to order the stock decals. I actually have used Die-Hard Graphics in the past, they do nice work.

You can make some mechanical adjustments to the throttle set up to help if the problem is severe, either by changing the distance out on the servo or the horn on the throttle, and then make travel adjust changes if necessary.

To get those decals, yes you would have to order them.

Dave,

Again, thanks. I have it really close mechanically (about 10% off so at 90% throttle stick I am actually at full throttle on the engine). So it's not bad at all.
