Digital Servo Bounce
I am having trouble with digital servos bouncing on my elevators. The elevator is balanced about the pivot rod and weighs 12 ounces. The servos I have tried are the 8411 and the 8231. Can the servo gain be adjusted? Nondigital servos work fine.
Thanks,
Pete

I'll take a stab at it
I remember having the same problem some time ago with a coreless servo on an aileron. Turns out it was the extension. It was losing voltage or the wire gauge was too small or something. Since I'm not an electrical engineer the technical explanation eludes me. If you have a long run, try some 22au wire and twist them just to see what happens. The digitals may be drawing more current for the wire size. Let me know_bob

The gain of the servo can be adjusted, but it may not be the problem. You might want to make sure that the servo is not installed too rigidly. Sometimes if the servo is clamped down too tightly, it causes this. Other possiblities would be a semi-flexible pushrod, or sloppy clevises etc.
