How to set up dual elevator with JR 3810
Hi Danny,
Help please.
The radio is JR 3810.
I tried to set up dual elevator on a new Extra 300L but there is something wrong.
In general the elevator is moving up and down as it is supposed to do, the problem is trimming. The elevator trim is controlling only one half of the elevator, the other half is controlled by a knob.
Can you please provide step by step instructions how to set up dual elevator (servo connection and mixing) with this radio?
A link to a FAQ page for this radio will be a great help for further reference too.
Thank you.
Emil

Hi Danny,
I was very busy these days and did not have time to actually make the setup but I hope it will be much easier with the info provided in the link. Looks better then the manual.
Thank you for the help

RE: How to set up dual elevator with JR 3810
Found this old thread, and downloaded the pdf help file.
But I still have a bit of a problem.
The slave doesn't seem to travel as much as the master in the UP travel.
The knob for the spoiler, I used the mix spoiler to spoiler as in the pdf file, but still the knob has an effect on the postion of the slave.
Is this normal?
It was easy to do on my 10X (away for repair). Everything seems ok, except for the points above, or is that a restriction of the 3810?
Thanks for help

You will need to make sure that the travel adjust of the aux channel matches the values of the mix to itself. So if the travel adjust is different than 100%, you will need to alter the mix that is -100% each direction to match the value.
