Default jr radio pcm10

Hi Danny I have a jr pcm 10 radio with 72.150 MHz is this still a usable radio ? I see that all that are for sell now are 75 MHz. The battery was dead and when i hooked up a charged up battery nothing happened.Does it need to be sent in for repairs?

Actually 75 Mhz is a ground frequency band. The PCM 10 has not been available for many years, but they are still a usable system. Some parts are no longer available, but outside of that they work fine. There is a fuse in the middle, left hand side looking from the front that may be blown, but it is fairly difficult to access without completely dissasembling the system. With a system of that age, I would recommend sending it in for a check up.
