Default pcm 10 signal

danny i have an old pcm 10 the signal output level indicator with full charge on battery show output to be in 40 to 60 range but todo a range check everything seems good can the level meter need replacing and would you all still heve parts for this transmitter!

I have 2 of these older champions. Both do exactly what you are describing. If the antenna is fully pulled out and you grab it with your hand the guage should show an increase. The output of both of mine have been tested and are just fine. Allways do range checks.

What can affect the range is if the antenna segments are dirty. I use alcohol to clean them and then lube them with WD40. I then wipe them clean with a paper towel.

Safety is no accident.

thanks really hate to lose a plane or heli just thought i would ask range
checks are good !!

That sounds like it is operating normally. If the meter goes too high, it is an indication of too high of output which can damage the system.
