JR9303 Battery Concern
Greetings Danny!
Since I got my 9303 (about a week ago) I've used it mostly while reading/understanding the manual, and also to transfer models from my older XP662. You know, just playing around with it - can't put it down!! I've only been out to actually fly with it once (also the whether hasn't helped!!).
It looks to me like the battery runs down pretty fast... of course I can only compare this to my XP662.
Is this normal? Is it because of all the programming/playing around with it? Can I upgrade the battery, and if yes, can you suggest an upgrade?
As is usual, thank you for all your assistance.
Blessings!
Albert

RE: JR9303 Battery Concern
This is just a tip, Danny can answer your battery question better then I. Use your DSC cord when you are just playing with the radio. Then only the computer is on not the transmiter. Dennis

The other option would be to remove the module from the back if you don't need to transmit to the receiver.
As for the battery, the largest mah pack we have available that will drop in is part number JRPB9081 which is an 800 mah pack. We have a 1500 mah Nimh pack from expert which is part number EXRB350, but does require that the connector be changed to match the 9303.

RE: JR9303 Battery Concern
www.radicalrc.com has a few choices. They can make it with the proper (white) connector, too.
http://radicalrc.secure-mall.com/sho...20&cart=267514
shows an 1100 NiCd pack and 1650,2100 mah NiMh packs.
This is just an example. I'm sure other vendors offer similar items.
