Danny what is the big advantage of buying the R 945S Dual conversion?
Would you explain Dual Conversion verus a regular normal Pcm reciever?
In your opinion what is the biggest advantgage of PCM over FM?
Thanks

RE: R945S
There are many references online that explain the differences between single and dual conversion. Here are a couple:

http://www.classicaero.com/berg/sc-dc.pdf
Which will be better in one application is a question that can only be answered through testing in your installation in your area. In some cases single conversion will outperform dual conversion, and in other cases dual conversion will outperform single conversion. IT depends on the noise that may be in your area, and also on the noise generated by the model as to which will work better. In most cases they will be very similar however.
PCM has much better interference rejection than FM so there is less chance for a loss of signal or a "hit", also PCM has Hold/Fail Safe which you can set the throttle to return to idle, which in cases of model generated RF causing the "hit", will reduce the noise of the model and may enable you to regain control.
