Default Weird Servo Behavior

I have a one year old JR system installed in a Hangar 9 P-51. TX is XP662, RX is R700, servos are all 537. The ailerons are controlled by two servos (one in each wing), connected through a Y-harness.

Recently, the right hand aileron servo has been acting strange. When I deflect it down, and then return to center, during the return the servo always moves past center to maximum throw in the opposite direction (in this case full up aileron), then returns to center. This seems to be speed related, ie. if I operate the servo very slowly this does not happen.

I will replace the specific aileron servo with a spare which should tell me if the problem is the servo itself or something else. I would appreciate your thoughts in the mean time.

Thanks,
Keith

Are you releasing the stick to return to center? If so, it is possible that the stick is going past center as it returns to center. Otherwise it could be a servo issue perhaps.

Hello:

Same thing happens to me in my XF 421, and I am not releasing the joystick, it only happens if you move the stick fast, is this a servo issue?

Thanks

Negus

Is it possible that you are moving the stick past center a bit when returning to center? If not, then it may be a servo issue.
