x378 throttle stick question...
Hi,
I've always flown (for the last 20+ years) with max throttle with the stick at bottom, and low throttle with stick pushed forward...
I was in my local model shop the other day when the owner suggested that I change to forward stick for max throttle etc...
the reason he gave was that some of the more advanced heli settings like idle up and throttle hold etc were all set up for the throttle stick to be forward for max and back for low..... and that they wouldn't work if the throttle and pitch functions were reversed...
Is this true???
thanks in advance
Matt

We believe that it should be possible to make this conversion so these functions would work properly by sending the system in for conversion, I would recommend you contact MacGregor at 01753-549111 for further assistance.

RE: x378 throttle stick question...
Well, since posing this question, I've spent about 20 hrs on aerofly pro with the throttle stick in it's 'normal' orientation, i.e. full throttle forward.... after many simulated crashes, I think I've now re trained my brain into doing the right thing with the throttle stick....
This lunch time, I connected the battery on my twister/honey bee 2 and went for it.... thankfully, the old brain didn't let me down and had a successful 15 minute flying session.... phew!!!!!
