Default JR X642 Heli question

I am about to acquire a used X642 radio for my heli. Question is, are futaba servos compatible with jr without having to reverse the leads as on the older sanwa airtronics servos. Or would I only have to trim the small plug tab on the j-style plug? I wasn't sure because unless I'm mistaken. Futaba and Hitec are negative shift, and Airtronics and JR are positive shift correct? (Or are they backwards?) LOL.......Just asking before I messed up and fried a receiver. Thanks!

Default RE: JR X642 Heli question

The servos will work after shaving the tab off of the Futaba connector and beveling the corners of the opposite side of the plug. A Futuaba receiver will not work with a JR transmitter or vice versa however.
