JR Transmitter Difference ?
Hi All,
I am looking at buying a used JR TX on Ebay and have been looking at 2 models the X-347 and the X-388s . I will be flying Electric low wing planes and also Gas trainer with this Radio., Does anyone know the difference between these models.
I am also looking at the JR8103 and the 3810 - I have no knowelege of the 3810, what is the difference there.
many thanks,
oh lastly this will be my first JR Radio, are they better than Futaba and why ?

RE: JR Transmitter Difference ?
The 3810 is almost the same as the 8103. The US market had the 8103 and the rest of the world had the 3810, some minor regional differences but fundamentally the same ( The US has a different numbering scheme )
The 347 and the 388 again are almost identical in operation but the 388 has 8 model memories and 8 channels, the 347 has 4 memories and 7 channels.
Both are bloody good sets and are widely used to this day.
