PCM 9X Throttle Stick Adjustment
Hi,
Im just getting into some indoor flying with my new PCM 9X ( the older version tho ) ,
and i would like to get the throttle stick feeling a little firmer to move.
I guess there is a rachet i can adjust, but would just like to know excatly where to find this,
and how easy or not it is to adjust, before i go ripping my TX open...
Any help appreciated !
Thanks !

RE: PCM 9X Throttle Stick Adjustment
The ratchet should come with your new set. You need to unscrew the back cover off the transmitter and attach the ratchet pressure plate there. If the unit was purchased second hand (since u mentioned it's not the new one) then you can still remove the back cover to see if the previous owner has flipped the ratchet pressure plate upside down to remove the ratchet feeling. You just need to flip it back. If you do not have the plate then I'm sure you can find it at your local hobby store or make your own metal plate. That's how it works on a normal controller. For the 9X, I think there are pressure screws where you can tighten to control the stick stiffness.... but you will still not get the ratchet feeling.
sorry can't find a picture of the pressure plate for you for reference. It basically looks like a small strip of metal... One end has a hole for the mounting screw to go through and the other end has a groove (V-shape) so that it sits on the plastic ratchet on the throttle stick (inside the controller)
