reciever shut down problem
Danny,
I had a strange occurrance today. the plane shutoff. I could freewheel servos. I turned the receiver off and back on then the system fired backup. This is a 770 rx, and it did not go into fail safe it just shut down.
I pulled the shrink wrap off of the battery and checked at the solder joints and they are ok. The switch was new. It was the switch that came with the 9303.
I had this happen on the bench the other day so I put in a new switch and battery thinking that has to fix the problem. It all worked great until I went in the air and then it did it again.
Can a receiver shut down without going into fail safe? I tested the failsafe before I flew and the motor shut off like it is programed to do. When the plane went down the plane was at half throttle. So my funtana 90 is toast, along with my ys 110.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

RE: reciever shut down problem
No, if there is power to the receiver, it will go into failsafe in the event of signal loss. This sounds like a battery/switch/connector/extension problem.
