Default New Battery = "SW WARNING"

Danny,

Received my new tx. battery from Horizon (and thanks for the fast service) and plugged it into my 9303. Charged it overnight and today turned it on for the first time.

All I get is a high pitched sound and the words 'SW WARNING" on one line; Aux2 SW on the second line and FM1 on the third line of the display.....

Help!

Jerry

You have flight modes active, it sounds like on the aux 2 switch. Flip the aux 2 switch all the way up to FM0 and this should stop. If not, then flight modes are on the flap switch, flip it all the way up to FM0 and this will stop.

I'll try it out tonight.....thanks for the suggestions. Did removing the battery make some 'adjustments' because it was functioning perfectly before I sent you guys the battery and I did not activate the flight modes switch.

All that you are seeing is that you have a switch in the "wrong" position. It isn't a problem with the system. Flip those 2 switches up all the way and you should be set.

Thanks Danny.....it worked just like you described! If the other flight modes are not being used, what happens if while flying the switch gets moved?

If you leave them set to default, the values will be as set as default, which if you need reduced rates and/or expo it may cause oversensitive controls.
