Default JR pitch curve

I have an ikarus variable pitch motor and prop assembly. I have set it up on heli mode. The receiver I am using is a jeti 5 channel, so the pitch must work on channel 5 (gear). I have mixed gear and pitch but I cant get control of the pitch curve. Adjusting the pitch curve has no effect on the pitch on the Ikarus motor and prop. Can I achieve this or do I have to put a 6 channel, heavier receive on.

I'm not 100% certain on the 9X since that is a system we do not have in the US, however on the US 9303 which is similar, you can set up a pitch to gear mix and set the rates to 100% in pos 0 values, and do not activate any switches in the mix. Also inhibit gear in device select.

Thanks Danny

I did that but it still doesnt give you control of the pitch curve at certain points.
Thats OK I will stick with the 770pcm at the moment.
Took it to a meeting tonight and drove it backwards around the floor. All were amazed

On the 9303 the pitch curve function carries through to the gear channel through that mix. Not sure what may be different.
