Default Are JR and Airtronics Z charging plugs the same?

[8D]In an earlier post I think that you told me that JR and Airtronics Z had the same reciever and xmitter charging configuration. I reversed my old style Airtronics charging leads on my Hobbico charger and it worked for my Airtronics Z equipment. I was looking at Tower's listing for the Hobbico charger thinking I would get a new set of leads just for the heck of it and I noticed that they list Hitec/Airtronics Z leads and JR leads seperately. Is there a difference? I have two Hobbico chargers and I was hoping to leave one set up for my old style Airtronic equipment and set one up for my JR and Airtronic Z equipment. Now I am confused. I know that this isn't JR's and your problem, but I would appreciate your help.

Default RE: Are JR and Airtronics Z charging plugs the same?

The RX plugs would be the same, but not the TX. I believe the polarity is different between the TX plugs, JR is center pin negative while most other brands are center pin positive.
