Default PCM 9X programming

Hi Danny,
I have a PCM 9X transmitter & I am using an R900 9 channel PCM RX.
On my jet, I have used the elev & aux 1 for the 2 elevator servos.
I used aux 2 & 3 for the flaps.
Unfortunately my rudder & steering go in opposite directions & it would be a real pain to change the setup. Can I use channel 4 along with the rudder channel so I can reverse one to solve the problem. I have tried, although power goes to the servo on channel 4 it stays locked at neutral.
Other than a servo reverser, is there some solution to all my channel needs.

Regards
Jim

Do you mean use aux 4 (ch 9) for a second rudder channel? You can inhibit aux 4 in device select, and set up a program mix, rudder to aux 4, and set the rates, but the rudder trim will not work on the aux 4 channel. I assume you have gear on the model as well, my recommendation would be to move your gear to aux 4, choose the gear switch in device select for aux 4, then move the steering to channel 5, to do so, first inhibit gear in device select, then go to wing type and activate dual rudder on the gear channel. Then adjust servo reversing, travel, etc as needed.

Many thanks. I did as you suggested & the problem is solved.

I have one other problem. When learning the throttle for my ECU, I find the throttle trim has no effect. Could I have by mistake somehow disabled the trim?
It is definately something to do with the transmitter as all is ok using my other tranny.

Regards
Jim

You might want to check your travel adjust settings on the throttle channel. If the travel adjust settings are low or close to zero, the trim will have little to no effect. Does the trim move the throttle on the servo monitor?
