Default XP6102 info

Here are a few questions:

Does the 6102 have any timers?
Can it be interfaced with a computer and how, for flight simulation (FMS)?
Can it be connected to a Futaba radio for flight training - Buddy Box?
Does the positive shift Hitec receivers work with the 6102?

It only has a total model timer. It can be used with sims assuming you have the proper adapters and program that will work with JR systems. A Futaba system can be used as a slave with JR as the master with the Hangar 9 Trainerlink. Yes, they should work.

Danny,

Thanks for the info!

Can I us the model timer as a flight timer?

Do you know if the FMS simulator is compatable with JR?

Thanks!

No, the model timer is only a timer to count the total model time.

I don't have any knowledge or info on the FMS sim, assuming you can get the proper adapters it should work, but I have no information on what is needed.

I can not believe JR would produce a transmitter without a flight timer!!!!????! What a sales killer!! Do the people designing these things fly?? Apparently not! The thing has a clock in it... oops we forgot to program in the flight timer.... maybe no one will notice!!?

I've been flying for 34 years, and never felt the need for a flight timer. JR makes these features available on other radios - if you have to have one, buy a different radio.

The features of the system are well documented.
