6.0v vs 4.8v
Danny,
I am wondering if you can use 6.0v on jr servos instead of 4.8 volts. I am building a Sig Mayhem 3d and need a high torque servo on the elevator and rudder. I have a 1200 milliamp 6.0 volt battery that I was going to use but I am not sure about the servos. I know with hitec it tells you what rate/torque is for 4.8 and 6.0 volts on each servo. If you can use a 6.0 volt what would the difference in the torque be.

There are only a couple JR servos that are 4.8 only and they specifically state so on the package, they are a couple of the mini servos. The rest can use either 4.8 or 6 V. I usually note a 10-15% increase in torque and speed on 6V vs 4.8V.

RE: 6.0v vs 4.8v
If 6.0V battery is used, is it plugged into the receiver the same way as the 4.8V battery? Or is the JR receiver not capable of taking this voltage?
Thanks
