Default 10x Tx Module question???

Danny ,

I have two 10x tx's one heli and one plane My heli is on 72mhz and the Air is on 50mhz , I want to convert the heli to 50 also and my question is can I just replace the 72mhz module for the 50 and use my 50mhz rx's or there's some tuning needed????

Thanks,

epc.

Just wondered how the 50MHZ RX was doing with your air 10X....I have one myself to change out from the 72 Mhz to 50 but haven't done so yet. Of course my 10X is the air version so don't know the answer..I suspect the TX module and obviously the RX is changed as the tuned tank circuits would probably be in the module itself but Danny may chime in on this......Thanks Steve KQ4UB 73

You can readily switch your 50 mhz and 72 mhz modules between transmitters with no problem All of the essential tuning is in the module.

Correct, you would only need to install a module on 50 Mhz and you are set.

I have a 72 mhz 10X that I want on 50mhz, so a module change for the TX and a new RX is required, or just crystals?

Edit: Found the answer in the archives, so disregard. I do need a new module and receiver.

Pat
