10 Channel PCM Receiver
I am the rather embarrassed owner of a 10-channel PCM receiver from which the magic smoke has escaped (actually, I plugged a battery in backward!!).
I there any liklihood that this component can be salvaged? Or should I just save my pennies and buy a new one?

RE: 10 Channel PCM Receiver
Chances are that it is salvageable..... Have had a few come in for want of some TLC.... Best case scenario is that a SMT capacitor has emitted the magic smoke and that can be replaced easily.... worst case scenario is that the track has burnt out etc etc etc..... it then becomes a paperweight
