8231 servo
Danny,
I'm setting up a 120 size Extra 300. I was going to put (2) 8231's on the Ailerons (one on each aileron) and (2) 8231's on the split elevators.
Are these servo good to use on the Elevators??
I was told not to put them on the elevators because they are nylon gears servos.
I'm putting a 4735 on the rudder.
Any other suggestions for servos on the elevators if the 8231 don't cut it??
Thanks,
Blackdog

8231 servo
In my opinion the 8231 should be perfectly fine on a 120 sized plane. I wouldn't see a problem with using them. Going to a metal geared servo would not be required, but it wouldn't hurt anything either. The next step up in a metal geared servos would be the 2721 or 8411 if you wanted to go that way.
