Single conversion and Dual conversion difference
What is the real difference between SC and DC receivers, I'm going to change all my receivers to R2xxx, and I would like to know what is the operating difference to make up my mind. I've read all the other post but not clear yet.

Okay, I'll try and keep this simple.
In a SC receiver, the incoming signal is mixed with the Xtal frequency to produce an Intermediate Frequency of 455 KHz. The xtal is usually set 455 KHz below that of the channel frequency. This IF is then usually fed to a single chip that will process the signal and feed it out to the decoder to drive the servo's.
A DC receiver has 2 Intermediate Frequencies, 1 at 10.7 MHz and the other at 455 KHz. The 1st IF is derived by the channel crystal being 10.7 MHz below the channel frequency. This is then filtered and mixed with a fixed internal crystal of 11.155 MHz. This filtered to provide the 455 KHz signal for further processing as before.
So, the difference between the crystals is that SC is 455 KHz below channel freq, and DC is 10.7 MHz below channel freq.

So will the SC receiver be better to reject interference using the ABC&W system than the DC wich will allow a bigger spectrum of IF to get decoded, and if any trasnmitter close by with the closest channel been off a bit from its channel frequency will have more chance to create a glich and of course been PCM going to fail safe?
As per your explanation I think SC ar a better choice, will you agree?; And speaking of the "16X" it will be 2048 right(I know is a dumb question but had to ask), and if so will a 1024 receiver work, or will be a new PCM code like Z,S , etc?
