I have a JR 783 with r700 rx this radio has the ccpm opened up as well as the 8th channel
I am going to use a GV-1 and a GY502 gyro
My question is the setup of the gv-1 and the gy502 with this radio.
I have been using a JR gyro(g460t quit working) up until this point I just acquired the 502 and the gv-1. I was using the remote gain for the gyro on the gear channel, I know I can still use the gear channel to control the remote gain of the gy502. Is there a way to assign the 7th channel to use the flight mode switch to control the on/off function of the gv-1? or is this even the best way to do that...or do I just need to let the throttle control the gov function?

You could set up an aux 2 to aux 2 mix, and set the switch to F-12 which will be on in the stunt modes and off in normal mode which would allow you to have 2 different settings with the flight mode switch.
