Danny,

<--------- Like the Avatar?

Two questions.

I am considering a Poweflite Li-Ion for my 8103 TX. These things charge up to almost 12V unregulated. Can the TX handle this?
Do you guys advise against it?
Guys at Powerflite told it would be no problem but I thought I'd ask you first.

I bought some of those JR heli division T fuel filters JRP960298.
Are these ok to use with Gasoline?

As always, thanks.

Yep, pretty cool!!!

The transmitter should be fine without a regulator. There is a possibility that you will wear out the output transistor faster, so it would be a good idea to have the TX checked out every year or so. It wouldn't hurt anything to add a regulator, but it wouldn't be required.

We are 99% sure that the JR fuel filters are fine to use with gasoline, but we haven't done much testing to know for certain.

I don't think that I will be able to, I've got a whole bunch of things going on this weekend. If I can though, I'll probably be through Bloomington Sunday sometime, I'll either give you a call or just stop out at the field.
