8103 Problem
I was out flying a foamie with my 8103 today and all was going well until I looked at my screen... it was dancing around like it had learned to speak Hebrew in real time. I turned the TX off, let it sit for 10 sec, then turned it back on (all after landing of course). This time the bottom 1/8 of the screen was displayed at the top of the screen. I recycled the power again and all was fine. Then, one more time I switched the power off and on... after about 20 seconds it was speaking in toungues again, and pixels were turning on and off randomly as well. I let it sit for a while, turned it on and it was fine again... tehn later in the day became possessed one more time
After sorting through that rambling you probably realize that something is not right in my TX. Have there ever been any similar cases?
BTW... the battery is at 10.6V and the TX is 1.5 years young.
Thanks,
Jason

Never heard of this happening, has any liquid been splashed/spilled on the Tx ? Rain ? Fuel ? Could be something as simple as that.

RE: 8103 Problem
Nope. I am REALLY nitinoid about my stuff. I never even fly on misty or humid days and it lives in a foam line metal case with my 10X and a soft brush that I clean it with after use. I don't fly glow, so no oil in it... matter of fact this TX has only ever flown electric models and AeroflyPro... I use the 10X for the gassers.
Figures I'd be the first with a new TX "disease".
