Ok,
You say the 610 is fine on range but I called Horizons Tech line just for the fun of it and the guy named rick told me It's maximime range is about .5 mile or 3 football fields. I really do need to know the truth because if the 610 will work exactly like the 600 I will keep that but it better work just like the 600 only smaller.

The 610 will not work exactly as an R600, but it is a full range receiver in its application, and will have the same or similar range as all other receivers. The 610 is not meant for large aircraft, it is designed to be used in small applications, and uses small components to fit in small places. If you want a similar receiver to the R600, I recommend the R700.

I have been using the 610 in my 1.20 edge for almsot 2 years now, stupid question but should i change this and why ? I will if you tell me i should , not worth losing an expensive plane over a $70 rx.

A receiver such as the R700 may be better suited for the application, but if it has been working, I wouldn't be concerned about it.
