I just purchased three DS 811 servos about 3 months ago, two of them were my aircraft when I had a mid-air. I had the local hobby shop to order cases to repair the servos only to find the ordered cases did not work. My DS 811's have flat sided motors the motor’s was retained in place by an adhesive of some sort. To remove the motor the mid-case had to be cut away from the motor. The new cases DS 811 cases supported fully round motors that are much larger in diameter resulting in not being able to use the cases. I verified that the cases are the right part number along with the Hobby shop trying to also remedy the problem. A call to Horizon tech support said they did not have replacement cases for the DS 811 servos. Any ideas on what I can do to get replacement for these servos? Are these throw away servos?

I looked at some cases in stock and they were for a round motor. I'm checking in to this.

Danny, the stock I have over this neck of the woods are correct, but we havent placed an order recently so that doesnt really help you pinpoint the error.

Sorry for the delay. After some checking, we don't currently have a part number for a case that will work for the 811. If you'd like however, you can send the servos in and we can repair them for you. We're working on a better solution to get the case available, but may take a bit of time.
