Marc 1955...............Just take the receiver case off, Find where the antenna is soldered to the "PC" board, using a low temp soldering iron, (25 watts) UN-solder the antenna, and solder in a new antenna 29.5 inches for 72 MHz. Be sure and make a strain relief like the older antenna had, Bob

Actually I did not explain my problem correctly. My Rx is open on my work bench the problem is that I did not find out yet how to remove the PC board from the plastic case. I can't see any tabs or else that restrain the PC board in place.
