Danny, is an FM crystal supposed to work in an R910 reciever? I have the old 10x TX and a R910 reciever and for what ever reason I cant get them to talk to each other. Had them checked out and everything by radio south and you guys there at horizon. I was told by Radio south and you guys there that they both work fine! Maybe i have a bad crystal but i just ordered it and got it in the mail from horizon, tried it out and im still getting nothing... any ideas would help please!

If memory serves me well, the 910 is a ZPCM Single Conversion receiver. Are you selecting ZPCM on the Tx ? Is the crystal holder colour Grey ?

Danny, I did try both the PPM and the ZPCM setting on the TX. The crystal housing is grey. It does say FM on it with the #18 as the channel number. Should this be working?

The 910 is a ZPCM receiver, you would have to set the TX to ZPCM. Are both the module and receiver 72 Mhz units? The crystal in the TX module must be in a black plastic case, and as mentioned the receiver must be in a grey case. Do the channel numbers match in the TX and RX?

Yes the channel numbers match, both the TX and RX are on the 72 mhz and the crystal in the TX is black cased and the FM crystal that I tried is grey cased. Will the ZPCM setting on the TX work with the FM crystal in the RX?

The grey crystal works in every single conversion receiver (FM or PCM) including the 910.
