Default R700 Aux2 output?

Have just bought a XF631 with the R700 included and there is no info in the manual regarding the Aux2 connector. When coonnected to a servo it seems to provide continuous power and not link to any channel on the transmitter. I am trying to set up air brakes on a large scale sailplane which requires two servos in the wings. Would a plain Y splitter linked to the throttle output be serviceable?

Aux 2 is channel number 7, and you have a 6 channel radio system, you will not be able to use channel 7 on the R700 receiver. A Y harness should do what you are needing.

Hey Danny,

I think sheepish is probably the word that best describes me after that idiotic post. Thank you for even having the patience to reply!

Not a problem at all, there are no bad questions to ask.
