Jr Xp662 Problem. (panic)

Jr Xp662 Problem. (panic)
The scroll and increase buttons on my Jr xp662 quit working. 
Even when the radio is on, I cannot access the functions.
Radio off, both buttons upward simultaneously then radio switched on at the same time nothing happens.
Battery is good.
I only have 15~20 flights on this radio, worked perfectly and could access all the function, all of sudden the buttions that let me access the functions decided not to work anymore.
I didn't crash it, didn't wet it, kept it inside a safe case .
I need to know if there is something I can check before to take it back to the hobby shop where I bought it.
Also, should I bring it to the shop or mail it to Jr??

The next morning, I turned the radio on and this time everything was working normally.
Go figure why!

I would recommend sending the system in to our service center, our turn around times are pretty quick right now, so it should be a fast service. Fill out this checklist when you send it in. http://www.horizonhobby.com/media/pd...rchecklist.pdf As to what is wrong, or why it happened, it is really difficult to say without getting it in and check it out.
