Default JR 7202

I currently own a JR 8103 and am in the market for a new computer TX. I like many of the new features of the 7202 and it appears to be more user friendly. However, is the software less capable? I don't want to loose too many features. I only fly aircraft: IMAC, pattern and 50cc giant.

Thanks

The software is very similar to the 8103. Are there any particular functions you are looking for in a system?

Quality materials, fit and finish, easier to use software, synthesized, same features as 8103 including timer count down. I like quality TX's that are easy to use and that is why I have always bought JR.

It is a very quality system. It has most of the features of the 8103, plus some new features. It does not however have a timer function.

It is quite amazing to me that JR could leave out such an important and simple feature like a timer in a replacement for the 8103.

I am more interested in knowing if it will support both positive and negative shift Receivers (like the EVO and the Polk Tracker). Just get a stand-alone timer to clip on the antenna. It's easier to see and use than a built-in one.

Is the new 7202 going to be in the 7200 MHz range or 2.4 GHz? I have just gotten into gas and looking for a new radio. Also, I didn't read anything about the radio having digital trims.

From the pre-production version I have, it doesnt support the opposition's alternative shift.

It works on the standard RC Bands ie 35 MHz, 72 MHz and I would imagine that for the relevant areas, 36 MHz, 40 MHz, 41 MHz and possibly th 50MHz band. It has digital trims.

When you power up, the set prompts you to confirm the channel number you wish to operate on, otherwise it doesn't transmit. You can change the channel number in the System setup.

Yes, I've used the system quite a bit. Generally dealers get product before we ship to consumers directly.

Yes, it is capable of dual elevator set up. There is not however a throttle curve function in aircraft mode.
