Default 649 vs 945 vs 955

Hello Danny!

I sent this in a PM already before I found this forum - sorry about that!

Just curious - are the 945 and 955 Rxs far superior to the 649? If so, which of those 2 is even better? I would assume that the dual conversion 945 would be an even better choice than the 955, but I see the 10X actually includes the 955. Makes me wonder if the 955 is possibly better.

Already have a 649 and love it. Is there any need to use the 945/955 Rxs over a 649? Its going into an electric heli where the weight savings of the 649 could really help in the long run. Its .50 sized using 20 3000 cells and Hacker brushless motor putting out roughly 2HP. About the same as the set up I currently use in another electric heli the same size and the 649 it uses has been flawless.

Thanks!

Jason

Default 649 vs 945 vs 955

All 3 receivers perform very similarly. The 955 and 649 are both single conversion receivers so both work very similarly. The 945 may or may not work better than the 955 and 649, it depends on a lot of factors. In most installations they will all 3 work the same without any problems.
