Default NER & RCD receiver questions.

Hi Danny, I have a few more questions... Pleasee bear in mind that I am relatively new to the hobby.

As part of a deal I got 3 receivers.

They are:

1) NER-236XZ
New ABC & W system
PCM

QUESTIONS: What PCM is this Z or other (I assume Z)? What crystals work with this (do I need to know anything special here)?

2) NER 910XZ
Z system
High Band

QUESTIONS: I assume ZPCM mode, right? What crystals work with this (do I need to know anything special here)?

3) RCD Plantinum ser receiver. Model# PGP31FM. JR 72MHz FM. A green dot on the side with the numbers 595. The crystal currently installed has 61.470 MHz SS-9406 written on it.

QUESTIONS: What mode? What crystals work with this (There is something special here, right)?

Thanks A Bunch,

Oscar

BTW: I have both a 388 and a 662 tranmitter

Default NER & RCD receiver questions.

1) The 236 is a ZPCM receiver, it takes a standard JR single conversion crystal, part number jrpxfr** where you replace the ** with the frequency number needed. You will just need to set your transmitter on ZPCM with matching frequencies, and you should be all set.

2) This is also ZPCM. The same crystals work here, however if it is listed as high band you need to stay above channel 35. If you need it to operate at a lower channel than this, you can send it in for retuning.

3) For this receiver you would need to use PPM (FM) modulation rather than PCM. If the crystal does in fact say 61.470 the receiver may be on a different frequency band, your best bet would be to contact Hitec and see if they can help you further.
