Default JR tansmitter battery

I have a JR 10X that is less than 1 year old. The battery for the transmitter will not charge? Someone told me a diode might have "blown" can this be repaired? Or do i need a new battery? Thanks in advance Bobby

If the battery still works in the system but does not charge, the fuse inside the battery case is blown. This is a soldered in fuse, and does require the battery to be sent in to repair.
