Default JR8103 with synthesized module

I want to transform my 8103 radio on a multifrecuency capable radio with the Synthesized module, but want to make sure that all my current recivers will work with it with normal crystals (I have several crystal channels) or I should purchase new synthesized receivers (Very expensive way)
