R770S crystal
I just puchased a JR R770S receiver and a JRXDR fm/pcm crystal for it. I have a XP8103 H radio. The receiver will not work with this crystal, if I put the crystal from my FM receiver (R700) and put my radio to PCM it workes just fine. Is this a bad crystal or is it the wrong crystal for this receiver, Im a tad confused.

That crystal is only used in the R940 and R945 receivers. It is not to be used in any other receiver. The proper crystal for all other receivers (including the 770 and 700 you mention) is JRPXFR** where you replace the ** with the channel number.
