Can I use the datasafe ?

I heared that you can only use a datasafe on a US jr PCM 10 X.

How do I find out if mine is a US type ?

Yes, that is true. You may be able to tell by the model type listed on the front of the TX by the labels by the screen. The US version says NET-J220FS.
