How much load from 8611a's?
Where can I find data on the anticipated load of a 8611A at a given torgue. I need to calculate how much potential load I can expect from my 8611A's. What if I had 7 of them under say 300 oz/in each at one time, what kind of load in amperes would I expect?
Thanks.
Thanks.

We don't have that kind of data available. Just a guess at that load you could expect to be drawing 2 amps or more per servo. I find it very rare however that you could demand that high of a load at one time on 7 servos in most applications.

Thank you for your reply. I wonder because I should know what size battery to use. 7 servos at 2 amps would need a batttery to deliver 14 amp burst. Even at half that I need a battery to deliver 7 amp burst. Right? I have a Lithium ion that is rated at 2400mAh and 4 amp continuous. It won't be enough will it?

That would be on the edge of not being enough battery. I've flown 50cc models with that size battery without problems with 6 servos with good results, but if you load it heavily or make a mistake in the geometry of your linkages and cause high current draw in flight that could be a problem. To be safe, I'd suggest a different battery, or double up the batteries depending on the model.

OK, here's what I have in mind. I have two 2400mAh 7.4V LiIo rated at 4 amp continuous. They will both be switched and regulated to 6v. I'll plug one into the Rx BATT and the other either in the spare channel port or Y harness it to channel one. Think it will be ok?
Thanks,
