JR8103 Mixing ailerons to elevons
Danny,
I have done a search and even tried some mixing on my radio. I have a cermark f-16 running 2 servos for ailerons and 2 for the elevators. I want to flip the landing switch and use elevons for low speed landing approaches. Is it possible? I am using a R700 receiver.
thanks, Jason

In his absence it is possible, set the wing type up as flaperons plug in dual aileron servos as required for such, then you can get were you need to and be able to switch it on/off as needed with flight modes by using the elevator to flap mix....

Yes, activate flaperon in the wing type menu, then you can use the LANDING menu to set up the land switch position for the ailerons to work as flaps.

Danny,
I read c/f's response, but can it be explained in more detail. I am sure its not that hard. I just need a little more detail. By the way, I am currently using the mix 5 and 4 for other uses, will they be required for this procedure? I have the 8103

All you'll need to do is activate flaperon and plug the ailerons into the aileron and aux 1 channels. Likely it would be best to also go to the flap pot function and inhibit that. Then go to the landing function to set the flap settings if you want the ailerons to come down with the flip of the switch, or if you'd like them to be tied into the elevator use the ELE->FLP function.
These functions are all described in the manual.

RE: JR8103 Mixing ailerons to elevons
Danny,
thanks for the response. I figured it out. I mixed the Aileron to elevator, then aileron to spoil on the e/f mix switch. So when the switch is up its got elevons, but the ailerons also function and I ran out of mixes to cut out the aileron movement while the elevons are on.
