Default JR receiver question

Hello. I'm debating between two receivers for my Trex600.
I have a JR R700 that has been tried and true.
The R700 is currently on my Trex 450SE
I also have a brand new never used JR Sport RS600.
Besides the additional channel on the R700
do you have any recommendations on which I
should go with. Or another JR receiver.
I will be using a JR XP6102 radio.
Thank you for any help.

I'd strongly suggest PCM for that heli, I'd recommend the R790 receiver or similar.

Danny,

Per you suggestion, I bought the R790 receiver for my T-Rex 450SE (it is smaller than I thought :-)). I am about to hook it up with 10X heli tx. A quick question,

10X menu says the remote Gyro gain control is hooked up Aux 3 channel, but R790 only has up to Aux 2. Does that mean I cannot use Remote Gain function with this receiver?

Thanks a lot,

Michael

Correct, to use that channel I'd suggest either using travel adjust or program mixing (mixing the channel to itself and assign to a switch) to set the gain on the gyro.

Danny, good idea. I will use channel mix to let Aux 3 (master) drive the Aux 2 (slave), then I can plug the gyro gain to Aux 2 on the receiver.

I think this would work. Thanks a lot!

The airplane a J-3 1/4 scale have 8 months with the airplane and the radio at the beginning a 6 channel fm, had a problem when you do all the power on the engine the radio went dead, some times only the throttle some times the ailerons.
First we think it was a servo, which we change them en extension that we change, and every time we did something to it seams that the problem was corrected and flight with no apparent problem one or two week end.
Change the radio to a 7 channel synthesizer JR change the frecuency and keep having the problem so finally we change all servos and extension to fix the problem and keep doing it.
All this time the receiver was at the same spot, so we move the receiver to other place in the airplane and everything was A ok.
My question, have been flying for 30 years and never ever had that kind of problem, do you have some experience with something like this.
I will appreciate your comments.

Receiver placement can affect the performance of the system.

I believe there is somewhere in your user settings that you can unsubscribe from threads. However that is a point I try to make to the forum users, to begin a new thread when you have a question unrelated to the subject of other threads.
