crystal question
I have a 9303 transmitter and some of my planes have pcm receivers and some have fm receivers. My question is... Is their any difference between a pcm crystal receiver and a fm crystal receiver are they interchangeable. Thanks in advanced.. Lou.

1) JR makes single conversion Rx's and dual conversion Rx's.
2) Gray capped crystals are single conversion.
3) Red capped crystals are dual conversion.
4) It makes no difference if the Rx is PPM (FM) or PCM, you'll need to use the appropriate crystals for the Rx (single or dual).
5) The RX should say on the top what conversion style it is (example...a R770S PCM Rx is a single conversion Rx) and you would need to use the gray capped crystal with it.
